Yéyo Tequila Blanco 750ml - Yéyo Blanco is a crisp, clean tequila with a hint of rich floral citrus agave notes. We call it perfection in flavor, with an elusive balance of pepper, sweetness, and spice—the perfect tequila to sip straight or mix in your favorite cocktail.
- 100% family estate grown agave
- Sustainably farmed, free of pesticides & fertilizers
- Made at NOM 1414 by Master Distiller Sergio Cruz
Above all else, we focus on the highest quality ingredients paired with a refined distilling process to achieve a tequila with a superior taste. This commitment makes our product different from trendy spirits that come to make a big splash but don’t deliver in the glass.
The formula for Yéyo starts with care for the earth. We harvest only the best mature agave plants from a single estate, using no added pesticides or fertilizer. The magic is made when we slowly roast the agave for 53+ hours + 7 hours of prep and cool it down in traditional brick ovens to bring out exceptional flavor and sweetness. After fermenting for 190+ hours with the sweet serenade of Spanish classical music to relax the juice, we double distilled in copper pot stills for a cleaner and crisper finish.
Also, Yéyo is verified additive-free by Tequila Matchmaker. I use only three ingredients: mature agave, yeast, and deep well water. What has evolved is a tequila made for tequila drinkers. Smooth enough to sip and with a strong flavor profile to mix - Yéyo serves as a vivid and distinct base to pair and enjoy.
The Feliciano Vivanco (NOM 1414) began cultivating highland agave during Mexico's tumultuous post-revolutionary period of 1910-1929. In Don Feliciano's hometown of Arandas, Jalisco, the next four generations of the Vivanco family remained devoted to expanding the family's agave plantations, and in 1994 the family dream of acquiring their own Arandas distillery was finally realized with the purchase of the distillery El Ranchito. ; With approximately 2,000+ acres of estate-grown agave at their disposal, the Vivanco family has since become renown for producing rich, well-balanced tequilas created by marrying honored distillation traditions with modern innovation.

What is the difference between Tequila & Mezcal?
Tequila is a type of mezcal, much like how scotch and bourbon are types of whiskey.
Tequila and mezcal are both types of agave-based spirits that are popular in Mexico, but there are some key differences between the two. Tequila is made exclusively from the blue agave plant, which is primarily grown in the area surrounding the city of Tequila, about 40 miles northwest of Guadalajara. Mezcal, on the other hand, can be made from any type of agave plant, and is often made using traditional, labor-intensive methods.
One of the most noticeable differences between tequila and mezcal is their flavor. Tequila is typically smooth and subtle, with hints of fruit and spices, while mezcal has a more complex, smoky flavor that comes from the roasting of the agave hearts before they are fermented and distilled.
Another difference between the two spirits is their production process. Tequila is typically made using modern industrial methods, while mezcal is often produced using traditional techniques that have been passed down for generations. This can give mezcal a more authentic, artisanal character.
In general, tequila is considered to be a more refined and sophisticated spirit, while mezcal is often viewed as a more rustic and traditional drink. Both are popular in Mexico and are enjoyed around the world, so the best way to decide which one you like is to try them both and see which one suits your tastes.
