Nosotros Mexicano is a premium, high-altitude mezcal crafted from the wild-harvested Agave Mexicano (Rhodacantha). Unlike the more common Espadín, the Mexicano agave takes significantly longer to mature—often up to 15 years—resulting in a spirit of profound depth and complexity.
This mezcal is a masterclass in balance, bridging the gap between traditional Oaxacan smoke and the sophisticated, bright profiles for which Nosotros is known. It is unaged (Joven) to preserve the raw, botanical essence of the wild agave.
Tasting Notes
- Appearance: Crystal clear with high viscosity and slow-falling "tears."Aroma: Immediate notes of damp earth and roasted agave, followed by a bright burst of green apple and wildflower honey. A subtle, clean hint of campfire smoke lingers in the background.
- Palate: A rich, velvety mouthfeel. The initial taste is sweet and citrusy, think lemon zest and lime, then quickly evolves into a savory, peppery note.
