Crafted by California agave farmers Deanna Moore and Katie Herzog, Giver Spirits' "Tequilana" Batch 001 is a small-batch expression rooted in community, regenerative agriculture, and regional ecology. Distilled from Agave tequilana grown by Carolyn Chandler at Rancho De Las Rosas in Carpinteria, California, the piñas were slow-roasted in an underground pit for five days before being double-distilled in a stainless pot still. This inaugural release yields just 100 bottles at 42.5% ABV in a 375 ml format, celebrating the collaboration of women-led farming and the unique terroir of the California coast.

- Aroma: Warm, earthy smoke rises from the glass, immediately complemented by rich roasted agave, subtle hints of fresh coastal brush, and a whisper of sweet prickly pear fruit.
- Palate: A velvety texture carries vibrant notes of baked sweet potato, caramelized agave nectar, and warm baking spices, balanced by a clean, mineral-driven backbone born of Carpinteria soil.
- Finish: Long and warming, leaving a lingering impression of gentle campfire smoke, wet stone, and clean herbal brightness.

What is the difference between Tequila & Mezcal?
Tequila is a type of mezcal, much like how scotch and bourbon are types of whiskey.
