Born from a desire to create honest wines that truly reflect the region's terroir, this 100% Syrah underwent open-barrel fermentation, allowing for meticulous, personal care in the pursuit of exceptional body and fruit expression.  

Tasting Notes:

Uncork a wine that captivates the senses: Appearance: This Syrah displays a bright red-violet hue, hinting at its vibrant character.  

  • Nose: The aroma profile is immediately engaging, revealing enticing notes of warm cloves, spicy pepper, and a medley of other aromatic spices, beautifully intertwined with the richness of dark black fruits.  
  • Palate: An elegant wine that delivers on its aromatic promise with expressive fruitiness and subtle toasted notes from its barrel aging. The open fermentation has contributed to a great body while maintaining a harmonious balance.  

Pairings:

The robust yet elegant character of this Syrah makes it a wonderful companion to flavorful dishes such as grilled meats, juicy tacos, and hearty burgers.  

Vinification:

This Duoma Syrah 2022 achieved its distinctive character through a meticulous winemaking process:

  • Grape: 100% Syrah, carefully selected from the Valle de Guadalupe.  
  • Fermentation & Aging: Fermented and aged in barrels for 6 months with skin contact, the open-barrel fermentation allowing for heightened attention and development of body and fruit intensity.   
  • ABV: 12.5%

Is all your inventory online?

We try to keep the store as updated as possible, but we always get new shipments. So if you don't see what you are looking for, send an email, and we'll check to see what Moose is hiding in the back room.

Why is beer available as in-store pick-up only?

Our temperature-controlled storage systems preserve beer's quality and flavor until pickup. By maintaining precise refrigeration, we protect each batch's unique characteristics and ensure customers receive the freshest possible product.

However, due to the challenges of maintaining consistent temperature during shipping, we exclusively offer in-store pickup for our craft beers.

What is the difference between Tequila & Mezcal?

Tequila is a type of mezcal, much like how scotch and bourbon are types of whiskey.
