Collection: NOM 1647

NOM 1647 - Tequila La Madrileña, S.A. de C.V. is the company that produces JARANA Tequila. The company was founded in 1940 by Don Ignacio Velasco, who came from Madrid, Spain, to Mexico in the early 20th century. Don Ignacio saw an opportunity in the tequila industry and started his distillery.

Initially, the company produced tequila under the name "Tequila San Isidro," but in the 1970s, the family decided to change the name to "La Madrileña" to honor their Spanish roots. Over the years, the company has grown and expanded, and today, it is one of the most respected tequila producers in Mexico.

In 1994, Tequila La Madrileña launched JARANA Tequila, which started as a mixto tequila and later evolved into a 100% agave tequila. Today, JARANA is known for its excellent quality and competitive price, and it has become one of the most popular tequila brands in Mexico and around the world.

Tequila La Madrileña is committed to using traditional production methods and only the finest quality ingredients to produce its tequila. The company is also dedicated to preserving the environment and supporting the local community in Atotonilco el Alto, where its distillery is located.
