Collection: Mezcal Metiche

Mezcal Metiche is a sustainable mezcal brand made exclusively from Agave Salmiana in San Luis Potosí. The production is closely monitored by the Ministry of Environmental and Natural Resources, which ensures the species is protected, the local ecosystem remains balanced, and the communities that use it are taking proper care of the agave.

Mezcal Metiche is produced at Ex-Hacienda Laguna Seca del Siglo XVII in Charcas, a historic mezcal-making location with a rich history dating back to 1870. Ex Hacienda sheltered important figures like Miguel Hidalgo and Benito Juarez during the 19th century, as well as revolutionists who would send jars of mezcal to their superiors to show that the area was under control.

Mezcal Metiche won the silver medal at the Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2017.
