Taste KOKORO Tequila: LOTE 1 & LOTE 2 Side by Side
TASTE KOKORO TEQUILA: LOTE 1 & LOTE 2
Two lots. One tequila.
A chance to taste how each moment leaves something behind. Join us this Friday at SF Tequila Shop for a special tasting of KOKORO Tequila Plata, including a side-by-side tasting of LOTE 1 and the newly released LOTE 2. KOKORO is a sipping tequila crafted in Mexico and inspired by the Japanese idea of kokoro, the harmony of heart, mind, and spirit.
Produced by Maestra Tequilera Rocío Rodríguez at NOM 1604, KOKORO LOTE 2 is made from 100% Highlands Blue Weber agave using traditional methods, including horno cooking, tahona crushing, open-air fermentation in pine pipones, and copper pot distillation.
TASTE THE EVOLUTION
Like vintages of wine, each KOKORO lot captures a particular moment in the tequila's evolution. Agave, fermentation, season, and time create subtle differences from one production to the next. This Friday, you'll have the rare opportunity to taste LOTE 1 and LOTE 2 side by side and experience those differences for yourself.
Founder Howard Cao will be at the shop pouring KOKORO and sharing the story behind the tequila, its production, and the evolution from the original release to LOTE 2.
