This isn't just a beer; it's an event. Crafted for true haze aficionados, Concentrated Clouds combines the signature approaches of both breweries to create a truly unique and memorable drinking experience. Get ready to float on a cloud of concentrated hop goodness!

Tasting Notes:

  • Appearance: A truly opaque, radiant golden-yellow, reminiscent of fresh-squeezed orange juice, with a pillowy, persistent white head that clings to the glass. It looks exactly like what its name promises: a liquid cloud. Aroma: An explosion of intensely aromatic hop notes bursts from the glass. Dominant scents of ripe tropical fruit (mango, passionfruit, pineapple), juicy citrus (tangerine, grapefruit zest), and soft stone fruit (peach, apricot) intermingle beautifully. Underlying hints of sweet cream and a whisper of floral or piney resin add complexity.
  • Palate: The first sip is pure velvet – incredibly soft, full-bodied, and remarkably smooth, with virtually no bitterness. The tropical and citrus fruit flavors from the aroma translate directly to the palate, delivering a concentrated burst of juicy mango, sweet orange, and bright passionfruit. There's a delightful creamy sweetness that balances the hop intensity, creating a sensation akin to a fruit smoothie. The mouthfeel is luscious and pillowy, making each sip effortless and immensely satisfying.
  • Finish: Clean, remarkably smooth, and incredibly soft, with the fruit flavors gently fading into a pleasant, lingering sweetness and a whisper of hop character. There's no harshness or lingering bitterness, just a desire for the next sip.

What is the difference between Tequila & Mezcal?

Tequila is a type of mezcal, much like how scotch and bourbon are types of whiskey.

Tequila and mezcal are both types of agave-based spirits that are popular in Mexico, but there are some key differences between the two. Tequila is made exclusively from the blue agave plant, which is primarily grown in the area surrounding the city of Tequila, about 40 miles northwest of Guadalajara. Mezcal, on the other hand, can be made from any type of agave plant, and is often made using traditional, labor-intensive methods.

One of the most noticeable differences between tequila and mezcal is their flavor. Tequila is typically smooth and subtle, with hints of fruit and spices, while mezcal has a more complex, smoky flavor that comes from the roasting of the agave hearts before they are fermented and distilled.

Another difference between the two spirits is their production process. Tequila is typically made using modern industrial methods, while mezcal is often produced using traditional techniques that have been passed down for generations. This can give mezcal a more authentic, artisanal character.

In general, tequila is considered to be a more refined and sophisticated spirit, while mezcal is often viewed as a more rustic and traditional drink. Both are popular in Mexico and are enjoyed around the world, so the best way to decide which one you like is to try them both and see which one suits your tastes.
